13.07.10: Police appeal for witnesses following collision on M3
Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses after a lorry was in collision with a bridge on the M3 near the junction 4 with Lightwater at 6-30am of 12th July .
The driver of the lorry was ejected from his cab on impact with the parapet of the bridge and was taken to Frimley Park Hospital with a suspected head injury. The latest report suggests the injuries are not as serious as first thought and the driver, who is from Essex, is being treated for deep cuts to his skull, ears and arms.

A lorry driver remains in a critical condition in hospital after a collision with a tractor that closed A12 in Essex.
The accident happened on the southbound carriageway near Witham on Monday afternoon. The lorry driver, a 53-year-old man from the Felixstowe area of Suffolk was airlifted to the Royal London Hospital with serious internal injuries.
