Emily’s story

Emily was just two years old when she was paralysed from the neck down and dependent upon a ventilator to breath, as a result of a serious car accident. Emily’s father saw a number of Solicitors on the Spinal Injuries Association Panel of Specialist Solicitors before instructing us. Our specialist knowledge, expertise and experience in handling similar claims enabled us to secure interim payments of more than £1.5M to enable the purchase of a suitable vehicle, bungalow and care package for Emily whilst the case is prepared for trial. It is likely that this case will settle later this year with an estimated value in excess of £13M
